Many thanks to our donors for our recent Fund for the Arts, Power2Give, “Let There Be Light” project. Along with the Humana Foundation matching funds, we have met the goal of $8091.40 Very soon we will have new lights in Gallery 104! Our sincere thanks to the following donors:
Robbie & Mary Muller, Tom Kinney, Zack Logan, Mark Rosenthal, Victoria Bironas, Kathy Dollinger, Ann Stroth, Reness Williams, Anne Murner, Cheri Grinnell, Mary McKinney, Jo Ann Luecke, Dave Ludke, Terri & Dave Miller, Kathy Dowling, Catherine Bryant, Phil & Cindy Green and John & Sylvia Burke.
Bad lighting at the gallery often offsets the beauty of the work held within and makes the gallery look closed from the street.
The Oldham County Singers have resumed fall rehearsals at the Oldham County Schools Arts Center, and are currently looking for Tenors and Basses. Men, if you love to sing and have some knowledge of choral singing, we welcome you to join us. Rehearsals are Monday evenings at the Arts Center (Room 247B) from 7 to 8:30 pm.
No tryouts necessary. Please contact Debbie DePaull at (502) 241-6493 or Octa Kellond at (502) 241-6806 for more information.
The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, provides operating support to the Arts Association of Oldham County with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
