Needle Felting a Snowman  

Time 2:00- 5:00 pm Level: No experience necessary. Ages: 21+ Instructor: Kim Mahlbacher Working Artist at Gallery 104, Juried: Kentucky Crafted Artist, Kentucky Guild of Artists & Craftsmen, Kentucky Proud, and  International Doll Artists. Goal: Teaching my students the science and skills of needle felting, so they can not only make this cheery snowman, but will be able to go on to make other delightful creations with the skills they will learn in my class. Materials: I will provide a cute kit, tied with a yarn bow, for each student containing all the sheep’s wool they will need. Plus needle felting needles, a needle felting pad, wool felt for his dapper hat, and a choice of wool tartans to choose for his scarf. Also the little wooden base which he sits on underneath “so his chubby self doesn’t roll over.” ❤️ I will provide hot tea and Irish cookies.
